Saturday Lotto Superdraw Worth $21 Million on 29th October

A stunning First Division prize of $21 million will be up for grabs in the next Saturday Lotto Superdraw this weekend, giving players across Australia another chance to win some incredible sums of money. Saturday Lotto, also known as TattsLotto, X Lotto and Gold Lotto, regularly produces multiple winners of the top prize and Superdraws raise the amount on offer to make the game even more exciting.

Superdraws take place several times throughout the year and the most recent one was held on 3rd September.  There were 11 lucky Division 1 winners, sharing a pot of $21 million and each taking home $1.9 million after matching all six of the main numbers.

While it may not have been a Superdraw last weekend, one ticket holder from Queensland managed to bag the full $4.1 million on offer. The ticket was bought at Surf News in Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast, to extend a great run of success for the region in 2016.

There have now been eight First Division-winning tickets sold on the Gold Coast this year, and a representative from Queensland lottery operator Golden Casket has admitted that the amount of tourists might be a contributing factor. “Golden Casket does see a higher frequency of division one wins in populated areas such as the Gold Coast and anecdotal research has shown that people are relaxed and like to dream while on holiday so they are more likely to buy a lotto ticket and the chance to win division one,” Golden Casket’s Claire Taylor told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

While every ticket sold has an equal chance of winning, Saturday Lotto players on the Gold Coast may well take confidence from recent results ahead of the upcoming Superdraw. Tickets can also be bought online, as well as from authorised retailers across Australia, and it could just turn out to be a very lucky draw whether you’re on the Gold Coast or not!
