Perth Couple Win $30 Million Oz Lotto Jackpot

A couple from Perth have expressed their shock after discovering they won Oz Lotto’s $30 million jackpot on Tuesday night.
The jackpot had built up after four draws without a winner since the start of the year. A single ticket from across all the entries in Australia matched the seven man winning numbers - 3, 14, 16, 17, 26, 42 and 44.
It was later revealed that the winning entry had been sold in Western Australia, and Lotterywest - the lottery operator in the state - quickly reached out to contact the winner.
The ticket belonged to a couple from Perth’s northern suburbs, who had bought it from the major Luck Lottery centre in Clarkson.
They were already aware that their numbers had come up when they were contacted, but remained in a state of disbelief. They said: “We’ve had a sleepless night and are still getting our heads around it all.”
It is the largest lottery prize to have been paid out in Western Australia since March 2016, and the biggest so far this year for any game in the country.
The supplementary numbers for Tuesday’s draw were 37 and 38. There were more than 595,000 winning tickets in total, with the other prizes ranging from $17.15 in Division 2 to $50,071 in Division 7. Go to the Oz Lotto Results page for more information about the prize values and the number of winners in each division.
You can go to the main Lottery Results page to keep up to date with all the latest winning numbers from all the games in Australia throughout the week.
