One store in Devonport could lay claim to being the luckiest in Australia after selling a fourth Division One-winning ticket. A couple from Tasmania bought their entry for the most recent Saturday Lotto draw on 23rd July at the Centre Newsagency & Lotto in the Woolworths Arcade of Best Street, and matched all six main numbers to grab a share of the $4,098,925.70 top prize.

There were two winning tickets in total, so the lucky pair from Tasmania claimed a magnificent sum of over $2 million. While they have decided to remain anonymous, the owner of the store has expressed his delight after seeing the lives of two of his customers transformed, and not for the first time.

“It’s wonderful to know it’s been won again by regular, loyal customers of ours,” Gary Marshall told The Lott. “A prize of more than $2 million is fantastic for the winners and is the biggest division one prize-winning ticket we’ve ever sold! We congratulate the winners and wish them all the best with their windfall.” Marshall’s store had previously sold division-one winning tickets worth $695,000, $1.4 million and $832,000.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s draw were 4, 7, 10, 15, 22 and 32, with supplementary numbers 6 and 38. A player from Burpengary in Queensland scooped the other half of the top prize, while over 461,000 other players snapped up prizes ranging from $15.40 for matching one or two main numbers plus both supplementary numbers up to $9,775 for matching five main numbers plus a supplementary number. Visit the Saturday Lotto Results page to find out more.

Centre Newsagency & Lotto is sure to be flooded with customers in the next few days as players look forward to to the upcoming Saturday Lotto Superdraw, which will offer a First Division prize of $20 million. Even if you can’t visit an authorised retailer in Australia to buy a ticket, you can get involved from wherever you are in the world by playing online. Best of luck!
